I joined Manmin in 2023 through my friend Priscilla, who, along with Pastor Daniel, visited my home to pray for me and welcome me to the church. 

One day I was at work when I suddenly felt severe pain in my back. Initially, I thought it was just a normal ache that would go away after taking painkillers, but the pain persisted and grew worse. When I tried to touch my back, I noticed that my spine had become stiff, which made me realize I needed to go to the hospital.

 I went to Mama Lucy Hospital, where I was sent for an X-ray, and it was discovered that one of my vertebrae was dislocated. I was referred to Borne Hospital and later taken to Kijabe Hospital for further tests. An X-ray confirmed the same dislocation, and I was then sent for an MRI. The results indicated that the dislocation was caused by the presence of tuberculosis (TB). I was advised to undergo further TB tests, but I was unable to proceed with the treatment. When the doctors reviewed the scans, they were shocked by the significant damage to my back, wondering why I wasn’t in a wheelchair. 

I said to myself that their thoughts didn’t define my situation, and that God had a better plan for me. I turned to God in prayer, knowing that there was nothing impossible for Him. I also dedicated myself to reading the Bible daily, even keeping it beside me as I slept. When I came to church seeking healing, I was asked to repent for my wrongdoings, keep the Sabbath day holy, and give my full tithe.

 From that moment, I made the decision to honor the Sabbath and attend all Sunday services without fail. It was difficult for me at first; my friends helped me get onto the church bus, and I relied on painkillers to manage the pain. When I sat in church, I needed cushions to support me, but in my heart, I longed to praise God joyfully, dancing and singing just like others. I could barely stand for long periods, but I knew that with God’s help, I would be healed. 

When the church announced a healing service on February 23rd, 2025, I believed that this was my moment to receive healing. I prepared myself with prayer and fasting, telling God that I would no longer sit idly but would praise Him with all my heart. During the healing service, Bishop Dr. Caleb Moon prayed for me, and immediately, the pain left me. I was able to stretch my hand, something I hadn’t been able to do before. I was overjoyed with my healing after suffering for so long. 

Today, my life is completely different from when I was ill. I can now carry out my daily tasks, manage my business, and walk freely without pain. I have shared my testimony with my friends and family, and they all thank God for my healing. Even though doctors had diagnosed me with TB, I never took any TB medication. 

My healing came through the power of God. From now on, I have decided to serve God with all my heart, especially in my giving and singing. I even want to join the choir to serve Him more, as He has healed me from the valley of death. I encourage everyone to trust in God, no matter the situation. He alone can rescue you. He healed me, and He can heal you too—just believe in Him. I also want to thank Bishop Dr. Soojin Lee for her prayer.

 I first received her prayer during a Friday all-night service, and since then, my healing progressed step by step until I was completely healed during the February 23rd healing service. I also want to express my gratitude to Bishop Caleb Moon for praying for me. I am now healed, Hallelujah! Glory to God!
